Ekenywa Specialized Hospital Limited is a limited liability Company incorporated
under the Companies Act No 12 of 2002 and Licensed to carry out the business Health
Services. It first opened its doors in 1994 and is now one of the largest specialized
hospitals in the country. The hospital has an average of more than 50,000 patient
visits annually. The hospital provides outpatients and inpatient services, which
include general medical services, diagnostic services and specialist clinics such as Ear,
Nose and Throat Services, dental Services, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, internal
Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, psychiatry and allergy.

Job Title: DOCTOR OF MEDICINE (10 POSTS)
Qualification and Experience: Degree in Medicine with two years' experience in the
medical field. Surgical skills is an added advantage.
Job Purpose: Examine, diagnose and treat patients according to medical ethics and
standard operational protocols.
Job Title: LABORATORY SCIENTIST (5 POSTS)
Qualification and Experience: Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) with two
years' working experience.
Job Purpose: Co-ordinate Health Laboratory activities, information system and
prepare reports.
Job Title: PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNICIAN (5 POSTS)
Qualification and Experience: Diploma in pharmaceutical science with two (2) years
Working experience.
Job Purpose: Dispensing, reporting and providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
Job Title: ASSISTANT DISPENSING OFFICER (ADDO} (5 POSTS)
Qualification and Experience: Certificate in pharmaceutical dispensing with working
experience of not less than 2 years
Job Purpose: Dispensing of medication in according to standard operating procedures
Job Title: NURSING OFFICER INO (5 POSTS)
Qualification and Experience: Degree in nursing with working experience of not less
than two years (2 years)
Job Purpose: Coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals for
creating and evaluating customized care plans.
Job Title: ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER fANO3 (10 POSTS)
Qualification and Experience: Diploma in nursing with working experience of not less
than two years (2 years)
Job Purpose: Coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals for
creating and evaluating customized care plans.
