Description
Mustlead Pre and Primary English medium school (Reg. PW.02/7/EA.011 and PW. 02/7/011) is located at Masuguru Village, Msata Ward in Chalinze District, Coastal region.  It is about 45 Km from Bagamoyo town along Bagamoyo-Msata road and 38 Km from Chalinze town. The overall distance from Dar es Salaam city center to the school is about 110 Km. Generally, it is very convenient to arrive at school from whichever direction.  
Due to fast growing demand of education and in order to fast track performance, Mustlead school is looking for highly motivate self driven individual to take the position of Head Teacher.

Requirement

·         Holder of Diploma in Education, Bachelor degree in education or other similar field from recognize university is an add advantage

·         At least one year teaching experience, those who attended training in new syllabus will have added advantage.

·         Broad understanding of education sector and stakeholders in Tanzania

·         Fluent in both spoken and written English language

·         Should be a Tanzanian citizen.

Responsibilities

1       Ensure that school timetable is strictly followed and teachers attend all class periods as scheduled.

2      Check and Supervisor to ensure pupils are given homework and review them daily

3     Install high standard of discipline among teaching staff and non teaching staff

4      Monitor and supervise school vehicles movement, repair and maintenance so as to ensure pupils are picked every day and timely.

5     Ensure all parents pays  school fees, school bus fare and other agreed contributions in time.

6   In collaboration with school accountant manage efficiently all school expenditure seeing that budget is maintained.

7        Ensure school visitors are accorded with high level of customer care and that their queries are timely sorted out.

8       Follow up with parents whose pupils are absent in school on daily basis

9       Ensure weekly and monthly test are conducted, marked and reports are filed.

1     Improve networking with other schools to improve collaboration on education aspects.

1    1. Constantly supervise all school assets and take disciplinary action actions to defaulters.

1   2. Review daily school report from all departments, summarize key issues and submit to school manager.

1   3. Constantly develop innovative and strategic ideas to spearhead school performance.

1    4. As school head teacher, demonstrate high teaching skills by examples through her/his lesson plan.
5:Professionally plan, organize, supervise and execute all school annual events such as parents meeting, study tours, graduation ceremony and board meeting.

1     6. Ensure all school statutory payments are done on time and copies are filed properly by financial officer/accountant.

1     7. Execute and Supervisor school projects such as school farms and implementation of other projects in the master plan.
  8. In collaboration with school manager participate in various activities that will raise school fund.

1   9. Ensure all incoming and outgoing letters, pupils’ assessment reports, staff files, vehicles files etc are properly handled and filed for reference.
10. Vigorously develop, execute and participating in pupils enrolment strategies to significantly measure growth in enrolment annually.
11. Perform any other duties as might be assigned by school manager/Director.
