WHAT WE NEED:
East West Seed has set out an ambitious growth strategy to expand our leading position in the vegetable seed industry in Tanzania. In order to achieve our targets we welcome an experienced and ambitious Sales & Marketing Manager who will play a crucial role in streamlining our forecasted growth in Tanzania.
Job Locations : Moshi - Kilimanjaro (frequent domestic travel required)
Position : Sales & Marketing Manager Reporting to : General Manager
Employment : Full Time
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develops and executes the Sales and Marketing plan with direct report to GM
Decides on product/market positioning for our sales regions in Dar Es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Dodoma, Mwanza and Mbeya
Builds a strong network of selected distributors nationwide
Formulates and executes short-term strategies as well as setting goals and targets.
Provides leadership to Sales, Marketing, Sales Promotion and Product Development (30FTE).
Combines strategic vision with hands-on mentality. Regularly visits distributors, sub dealers, and customers
Willingness to travel internationally
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:
Must have University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Agriculture.
Minimum 7-10 years commercial experience in the Vegetable Seed Industry
Profound product and market knowledge and understanding of trends and developments in the vegetable seed industry.
Ability to build long term relationships with our distributors
Ambitious mentality.
Willingness to travel internationally
